Gill supports Arnewood School Expedition Club

Gill has been involved in supporting and donating to The Arnewood School to help fund their cross-curricular charity work in Zambia in the Summer of 2019. Gill strongly believes in allowing younger individuals to reap opportunities and help others in the process.

Over a number of years, The Arnewood Expedition Club have allowed students to get involved with charity- based projects which have involved working with street children in orphanages. In 2019, 15 students will be travelling to Livingstone, Zambia, to work on three different projects over the course of four-plus weeks.

Over the next 20 months, the students will be preparing for their expedition. This will include team building events, finding out what their strengths and weaknesses are, as well as preparing the required resources needed for such a major event, including funds.

By taking part in this expedition, students will have the chance of a lifetime. A chance to give instead of taking and an opportunity to learn how others live. They will start to gain an understanding of how hard life can be for some people and add value to their own lives. The students and their parents know that this will be a life-changing experience.
