Marine innovation at Seawork 2015

Full ahead with marine innovation at Seawork 2015

FullSizeRender2Gill Sensors & Controls exhibited for the second year running at the Southampton based Seawork International event in June. Over 600 companies from the commercial maritime sector exhibited making it the largest and busiest show yet. Companies from shipbuilding, wind farm operations and many more created the ideal platform to present our latest products and deepen our knowledge of the technology within the industry.

This year we were able to demonstrate our latest level sensor development, focused on filling the gap within the industry for reliable measurement of Black Water tanks. Visitors were attracted to the Black Water demonstration rig which provided an insight into the simplicity of the product and in particular the non-stick coating which prevents the accumulation of substance build-up.

In addition to the enormously encouraging interest generated on the stand, the Black Water Sensor also featured as part of the innovation showcase as it was recognised as a new solution to a current issue facing the marine market.

Networking on the Quay

With such a high calibre of international delegates attending the show, we took the opportunity to hold our annual drinks reception on the quayside on Wednesday 17th June. Attended by many industry professionals looking to wind-down and network with fellow exhibitors, the reception was a great success providing an opportunity to meet new customers, reseller and potential partners.
