Gill Sensors & Controls has been leading the market for robust, solid-state measurement technology since its formation as a separate business within the Gill Group in 2014. Gill Sensors & Controls has been providing some of the most exciting, accurate and reliable devices for challenging environments, with products based on the principle of no moving parts, ensuring they require virtually no maintenance, for a truly trusted ‘fit and forget’ solution.

Gill Sensors & Controls has racked up a long list of achievements since starting with the design and manufacture of inductive, ultrasonic and capacitive measurement sensors.

Highlights over the last 10 years include:

• Becoming a trusted supplier to top tier motorsports providing fuel and oil level sensors – contributing to many poles, podiums and world championship wins over the decade.
• Non-contact position sensors for numerous applications from motorsport throttles through to 3D printer filament positions and musical instruments, often custom designed to perfectly match customers’ exacting needs.
• Capacitive level sensors – continuous and reliable measurement in the most demanding applications including trains, UAVs, hovercraft and world land speed record attempts.
• WearDetect launched in 2016 providing engineers and maintenance teams with continuous ferrous wear monitoring – measuring right in the heart of gearboxes, bearings and other rotating equipment.
• LevelSlick released in 2018 using Gill patented technology, to deliver a non-stick level sensor, unflustered by viscous, frothing and lumpy media. 
• WearDetect IoT, released earlier this year, is the latest Gill product, allowing seamless oversight of wear debris in rotating assets, providing the earliest maintenance warnings from anywhere in the world straight to you.
